Do you suffer from cold feet? Do your toes get discoloured and uncomfortable from the cold? Are you sick of trying to keep your feet warm, and nothing seems to be working?
A Paraffin Wax Bath may help you!
All too often Dr Ella sees people coming in complaining of cold feet, some even have chilblains (sores) on their toes as a result of how cold they are. These people feel helpless and at a lose as they feel they have tried everything, from wearing numerous pairs of socks to heat packs under the sheets in the bed and still have so much discomfort from their icy feet.
One thing a lot of these people have in common is that they haven’t tried a Paraffin Wax Bath treatment.
A paraffin wax bath involves covering the feet with a warm paraffin wax and leaving it on for 20 minutes. As the wax becomes firm it will slowly transfer heat to the feet. The wax isn’t too hot so it is not an uncomfortable treatment.
Dr Ella is also very cautious about hygiene so she uses a protective bag to cover the foot so that the skin isn’t coming in direct contact with the wax bath.
A Paraffin Wax Bath is beneficial in helping to manage a range of conditions, these include:
