Fees

Podiatry Fees & Services

No hidden fees and no surprises at the desk. Every fee is published upfront with its health fund item code, so you can check your rebate with your fund before you book.

Claiming on the spot

We have HICAPS on site, so eligible private health rebates can be processed at the desk and you pay only the gap. Have your health fund card or digital card ready.

Want to know what you'll get back before you book? Quote the relevant item code from the fee tables to your fund. Your rebate depends on your level of cover, and your fund is the only one that can confirm your exact benefit.

X-rays and imaging

If x-rays are needed, your podiatrist will refer you to a local bulk-billing radiology centre. Fees are payable on the day.

Instant claiming with all major health funds — we have HICAPS on site, so your rebate is processed at the desk and you pay only the gap. WorkSafe, TAC, DVA and NDIS are accepted too. Every fee and item code is published.

Rebates

What you can claim against

Private health insurance

Most extras policies cover podiatry. The rebate depends on your level of cover, your annual limit and any waiting period. Claimed at the desk through HICAPS — you pay the gap.

Medicare

Only through a GP chronic disease management plan. Item 10962, currently $63.40 back, and a maximum of 5 allied health services in a calendar year — that is 5 across all providers combined, not 5 each.

Tell reception when you book that you are claiming under a care plan, and the appointment will be set accordingly.

How Medicare rebates work →

DVA, NDIS, WorkSafe and TAC

All accepted. Each has its own paperwork and its own approval process, so call reception before your first appointment and say which one applies. For a Support at Home package, your provider needs to authorise podiatry in writing before the appointment.
