Podiatrist

Anureet Selach

Anureet Selach is a consultant podiatrist with a broad general and biomechanical podiatry practice and a particular interest in understanding why foot and leg problems develop, not simply treating where the pain is.

Her approach is especially relevant when it comes to orthotics. Rather than assuming an orthotic is the answer, she first assesses how the feet and lower limbs are functioning and considers whether other approaches may be more appropriate. If orthotics are recommended, she explains why they may help and how they fit into your overall treatment plan.

Qualifications

Anureet holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) and is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association. She is registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia under registration number POD0002925308, which you can look up on the AHPRA register of practitioners.

Her experience includes multidisciplinary practices and podiatry clinics in Australia and overseas, working with general, musculoskeletal and athletic patients. She continues professional development in musculoskeletal therapy, orthotic design and sports rehabilitation.

How she works

Your appointment starts with listening. Anureet takes the time to understand what you’re experiencing, when it started, what has changed and what you want to get back to doing.

She then assesses the problem, explains what she finds in plain language and discusses your treatment options and their costs before anything is decided.

The aim is simple: understand the problem, explain it clearly and give you a plan you can feel confident about.
