Pneumatic compression therapy involves the use of compression devices such as Normatec compression pants, designed to improve blood flow, reduce muscle soreness, and aid recovery. While generally safe, there are certain risks associated with this therapy, and it is important that you read and understand these risks before consenting to treatment. Purpose of the Therapy The purpose of pneumatic compression therapy is to assist with recovery by improving lymphatic drainage, reducing swelling, and enhancing circulation in the lower limbs. This therapy is commonly used by athletes and individuals with swelling or circulation issues.
